Closing Ceremony

At the end of the meeting, before Scouts depart, the troop should always and properly close things out. A well-presented closing period wraps everything up in a predictable fashion, and when done in a meaningful manner puts a comfortable cap on what’s preceded. The closing ceremony is well-suited to take place after some brief, well-paced and pertinent announcements along with a Leader’s Minute.

Troops can decide to always conduct the same closing ceremony for each meeting, vary it, or have different versions presented by individual patrols. Additional Information and Troop Meeting Closing Ceremony Ideas
